We just wanted to make a quick announcement to let the sea kayaking World know that Sean Morley has joined forces with P&H this month.
A highly respected and great all-round paddler, we are very pleased to have Sean onboard and look forward to his contributions.
A great athlete in his own right, he is well known for many achievements. He began kayaking at the age of ten and often paddled alone, exploring the relatively sheltered waters of St Austell Bay on the south coast of Cornwall, England.
Even then he was wondering what lay around the corner and dreamt of continuing around the next headland until eventually I had paddled all the way around Great Britain.
A few years on and that is exactly what he did. In 2004 Sean completed the first solo circumnavigation of the U.K and Ireland (including all the inhabited islands) which is a distance of 4,500 miles and he completed it in 183 days.
Last year he broke the record for paddling around Vancouver Island and cut six days off the solo mark!
After 30 years of kayaking, Sean’s passion for the sport is undiminished and we know having him on board will bring some great input into P&H Custom Sea Kayaks.
