Doug Cooper
Doug has been a Team paddler since 1997 when P&H supported him with kayaks for a 6-week self-support expedition to Greenland’s east coast. Since then he has continued to paddle their kayaks on many expeditions & work around the world, but primarily around his home waters of Scotland.
As a coach & guide he is privileged to spend time on the water inspiring and informing others on how to achieve their dreams on the sea. Coaching for over 30 years his passion for educating and supporting others shines through in all he does, this included 26 years working at Glenmore Lodge and now consists of a lifestyle of freelance & bespoke coaching/guiding alongside plenty of personal play & adventures.
Doug is also a renowned author with many sea kayaking guidebooks for the world-class Scottish coastlines, as well as instructional sea kayaking skills books. To provide further ‘inspiration & information’ to all those interested in sea kayaking he and his wife have created the ‘ScottishSeaKayaking.co.uk’ website and social media sites.
