My target was to paddle round Anglesey, solo, in a time faster than fourteen and a half hours.<\/p>\n<p>Ready to set off, 5am<a title=\"P1000765\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000765.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-951 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000765.JPG\" alt=\"P1000765\" width=\"637\" height=\"463\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Passing Penmon Lighthouse, 75km paddled, 47 to go<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"P1000786\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000786.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-953 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000786.JPG\" alt=\"P1000786\" width=\"641\" height=\"407\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The finish, Cable Bay. Toal of 122km paddled in 13hrs 8 mins<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"P1000803\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000803.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-956 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.phpaddlers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/P1000803.JPG\" alt=\"P1000803\" width=\"642\" height=\"430\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Cetus LV again performed really well. It&#8217;s narrow in front of the cockpit facilitating an efficient upright paddle stroke. It handles well in tide races, being easy to steer but still holds a course well. And most importantly on trips of this length, the cockpit was very comfortable.
